Sound Mixer
The member of a film crew or television crew responsible for recording all sound recording on set during the filmmaking or television production using professional audio equipment, for later inclusion in the finished product, or for reference to be used by the sound designer, sound effects editors, or Foley artists (aka Foley dancers).

The stagehand who is responsible for the upkeep, acquisition, and use of microphones, backstage monitors, communication systems, and the audio system. There are typically one or two people with this job title associated with any major theatrical production making use of such audio elements.

Podcast Recorder
Responsible for managing all aspects of the audio recording process of a podcast. This includes setting up and operating recording equipment, ensuring high audio quality, to produce professional-sounding episodes.
